December Goals Review
Alright everyone, let’s cut to the chase: December was rough. And I mean ROUGH. Don’t get me wrong though – I had a great month! I saw tons of friends and family and loved every second of it. Not to mention Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations were a blast! Unfortunately, the busyness of the season left my December goals in shambles. I’m not proud of myself, but I have to be honest: Out of the nine goals I set for myself, I achieved four of them.
And they were the easy ones: don’t eat dairy or gluten, get 500 hits on my blog, get 100 Pinterest followers, and make my Christmas gifts. My other goals fell to the wayside pretty much as soon as December started. I barely went to the gym at all, ended up gaining a few pounds (though not that many considering Christmas!), hardly posted at all here, didn’t even make it to my book club meeting (because of an interview to be fair. But still!), and didn’t read my devotional like I wanted to. That last failed goal in particular has no excuse. I have time to read a half page devotional.
But it’s a new year now! And a new year means a new you right? Right! So this month I’m reminding myself how to set appropriate goals and follow through with them. I am sticking to my guns. So let’s get to it! Here are my goals for January 2018:
FITNESS & FOOD
☐ Go to the gym 4 out of 7 days of the week
☐ Lose about 2 pounds per week
☐ Don’t eat dairy or gluten. AT ALL. Seriously.
☐ Post 2 Blog Posts Per Week
☐ Get 1000 Hits On My Blog
☐ Get 200 Pinterest Followers
☐ Read and Implement Pinterest Strategies
☐ ACTUALLY read the book AND make it to my January book club meeting
☐ Make time for spiritual growth every day
There you go: my January Goals! I promise to be much more engaged this month, so you’ll be hearing from me soon. As always, comment below with any feedback you have. Thanks for reading everyone! Wish me luck
